St Lucia, July 15: A five wickets haul by H Herath has led Sri Lanka to a dramatic win over Pakistan in second test match at Colombo on Tuesday as Sri Lanka has taken an unbeatable lead of 2-0 in the three test match series.
At one stage, Pakistan was looking in the commanding position with 284 runs on the board with loss of just one wicket but suddenly the whole scenario changed and Pakistan lost 9 wickets with adding just 36 runs in the total to set target of 171 runs for Sri Lanka.
Fawad alam smashed 168 runs and Pakistan skipper Younis KLhan contributed 82 runs with the bat but 8 Pakistan batsmen failed to reach into the double figures.
The collapse of Pakistan batsmen in the second inning has been enough to tag the title of “chokers” with them as they fail to deliver at the right time.
In the first inning also Pakistan bundled out for a total of just 90 runs and even the world class batsmen failed to reach even in the double figures.
