The Architectural Draughtsman, Vijayawada Urban Development Authority, VUDA, Vijayawada City was caught red-handed by the ACB Officials at 04.40 p.m. at the V.G.T.M. Office, VUDA, Vijayawada City, when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs. One Lakh from the complainant for doing an official favor i.e. to process the file of NOC of the complainant and to send the same to Mines department for renewal of mining license of the complainant.
The accused officer was arrested and being produced before the Hon’ble ACB Court, Vijayawada. Case is under investigation. (INN)
