Hyderabad, January 05: (Siasat News)Experts from Archaeological Survey of India, Dept of Archaeology and Museums and INTACH visited Golconda Fort, Qutub Shahi Tombs and other places to explore the possibilities of declaring the area as heritage buildings as per the norms of UNESCO. It is learnt from reliable sources that the Qutub Shahi Tombs and other buildings are being considered for declaring them as heritage buildings by UNSECO.
The experts have discussed the issue with conservation architects also. Local residents presented a memorandum to the experts pointing out the lapses and the ongoing activities of Golf Club and the possible damage that is likely to cause to the historical monuments.
