According to the findings of laboratory research carried out in Switzerland claims that Yasser Arafat was poisoned by polonium, the report was published in Al-Jazeera on Tuesday.
Clothing of Yasser Arafat provided by his widow Suha as part of an Al Jazeera expose found “surprisingly” high levels of polonium-210 as per the Swiss research.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner Arafat died on Nov. 11, 2004, following several weeks of treatment.
Suha Arafat told the Qatar-based satellite TV channel, “I want the world to know the truth about the assassination of Yasser Arafat,” without accusing directly but noting that Israel and the US saw him as an obstacle to peace.
