Arabic & Persian book of State Library face danger

The repairs and renovation work of State Central Library is going on with a slower speed. It might cause danger to the Arabic and Persian books which are stored in the two storeys of the cellars. Electrical and construction works in the cellars is in progress and these valuable treasure of books is lying on the ground.

If care is not taken, there is every possibility that these books will be damaged. These are valuable reference books not for issue for the general publishing for borrowing them to their homes. These two sections have been closed for about two months from now but no arrangement has been made for the preservation of these books. It is said that so far 13.652 rare books of Arabic and Persian have been digitalized.
