Arab employer fined Dh50,000 for abusing job law

Ras Al Khaimah, October 12: The immigration and residence court in Ras Al Khaimah ordered an Arab employer to pay Dh50,000 fine for allowing an employee to work at another company in violation of existing labour laws.

The court also ordered the deportation of the worker in line with new rules introduced early this year to ensure discipline in the labour market.

The employee was seized along with other violating workers during a surprise raid by labour inspectors in the emirate.
