APSRTC has accorded B2C franchise rights to busindia.com. to sell tickets for the buses operated by it. Passengers can now avail bus tickets on www.busindia.com for travel across cities and towns in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and neighbouring States where APSRTC has its services.
Busindia.com has been developed by Radiant Info Systems Limited, pioneers in online ticketing system in the country since 2005, in partnership with CIRT, a Government of India organization. Radiant also credited to have launched the first-ever online bus ticketing system in the country for Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation in 2006.
Announcing this, Chairman and Managing Director of Radiant Info Systems Limited Venu Myneni expressed happiness over tie-up with world’s largest bus fleet operator and corporation. He exuded confidence that this partnership would attract more passenger patronage in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and other South Indian States from busindia’s existing customer base. Busindia.com is the largest bus ticket portal with tickets offered across India in an integrated portal and users now need not log on to multiple portals for booking across India.
