AP”s ACB unearths Rs 91 lakh worth assets from spl collector

Hyderabad, March 01: Andhra Pradesh’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here today unearthed disproportionate assets worth over Rs 91 lakh allegedly belonging to the Special Collector of Mahabubnagar district of the state.

ACB officials conducted simultaneous searches at the residence of Mude Lal Singh, Special Collector (Land Acquisition) Bheema Project and houses of his relatives which resulted in unearthing of 23 house plots, Rs 2.31 lakh in cash and household articles among others, an ACB release said here. The accused officer was found in possession of assets which were “disproportionate” to his known sources of income to the tune of Rs 91 lakh and the case is under investigation, the release added.
