This April, India Runway Week to be back with summer edition

New Delhi: India Runway Week is all set to be back with its summer edition this April.

Organised by Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD), IRW summer 2018 edition is slated for April 20-22, at The Plaza, DLF Place, Saket here.

The show that puts up some brilliant designs every year, is expected to be bigger and push every boundary of fashion, said , Kiran Kheva, the head of fashion, India Runway Week.

Speaking about the same, Muckth Dograa, head at DLF Place Saket said, “We are excited and pleased to be presenting the 10th India Runway Week at DLF Place Saket. DLF Place, Saket is inarguably a fashion and food destination in the south of Delhi and we are focused on bringing exciting and new platforms for our shoppers, so this event is in line with our endeavour.”

Last season saw collections by designers like Saaj by Ankita, James Ferreira, Bibi Russell, Rajdeep Ranawat, Akassh K Aggarwal, Varija Bajaj, Niharika Pandey.

Celebrities like Nushrat Bharucha, singer Ankit Tiwari and Shivani Kashyap, choreographer Geeta Kapoor, Shriya Saran, ‘Big Boss’ fame Lopamudra Raut, ‘Mirzya’ movie fame Saiyami Kher and TV actress Riddhi Dograa walked the runway for the designers. (ANI)
