Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission released results of Group IV examination on Thursday. The results are likely to reach all the districts in a couple of days.
After receipt of the results, Group IV posts would be filled in the districts on the basis of merit and reservation under the supervision of the respective district Collector. The merit lists might be displayed on the notice boards in the Collectorates in two or three days.
Over four lakh candidates had appeared for the written examination for Group IV posts conducted on August 11 last year following a notification issued by the APPSC in 2008 pertaining to filling of 1355 Group IV posts. Meanwhile, the APPSC extended last dates for filling posts of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors till February 23, Physical Education directors in AP Collegiate and librarians to March 8, Child Development Project officers’ posts to March 18.
