Hyderabad, September 15: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) today decided to conduct re-examination for all the candidates who could not attend the recently held preliminary examination of Group-I service, which was opposed by Telangana supporters, due to genuine reasons.
Candidate in any venue in the State, unable to attend the exam, may submit their representation along with reasons and photo copy of Hall tickets to the Chairman of APPSC on or before September 23, to enable the commission to examine such representations on case by case basis, the APPSC said in a release.
The APPSC decided to conduct re-examination for all candidates who were alloted the B.Ed college centre inside the Osmania University where violent protests were held by Telangana supporters.
The APPSC held a special meeting today in view of the report received from the Chief Superintendent of B.
