Rajasthan Minister Amin Khan today said appropriate action will be taken against those responsible for the demolition of a mosque in Bhilwara district.
Investigation in the matter is on. We will ensure that all the accused are punished as per the law…,” Minister of
State for Minority Affairs Amin Khan said, adding that the state government has taken several decisions for the uplift of the minority community.
The site at which the mosque stood was purchased by a mining company from the local Anjuman Committee. It was
demolished in April to make way for mining in the area.
After a public outcry, an FIR was lodged against the company officials and some locals. The reconstruction of the
mosque is also on.
