We approach court: Komatireddy

Alleging that the police arrested culprits based on false hood information in regard to murder of Nalgonda Municipal chairperson Boddupalli Laxmi’s husband Boddupalli Srinivas, Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that the police detained culprits with out interrogating them.

Speaking to the media at Assembly media point here on Monday, Komatireddy said that the police did not interrogate Mirchibandi Yadaiah. A person named Mohandas showed the body of Boddupalli Srinivas when his wife Laxmi approached police alleging that her husband was not found to her. But the SP was announced that Laxmi saw her husband’s body before police. The police didn’t made the call data of any culprit till now. SP failed to answer to all questions raised by the scribes. The entire interrogation was illegal, he said.

There was no response from the police though the Mirchibandi Yadaiah lodged a complaint with the police saying that some people destroyed his band. “It shows that police knew about murder and hence they didn’t respond on it”, he said. The culprits murdered Srinivas with pre-plan while having beers. It is purely political murder, he said and alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, DCP and SP have their role in the murder of Srinivas. He reminded that culprits warned Srinivas in a Coffee Day that they will kill Srinivas any time before 20 days, he said and killed him as they said. He said that the culprits brought stones to the spot as there were no stones earlier, he pointed out. Another murder took place in Nalgonda to day, he said and alleged that murder politics were taking place as there was no justice done to the husband of Municipal chairperson’s husband. It was nothing but inefficiency of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and hence these sort of incidents taking place in the newly formed state, he said.

He alleged that some unidentified people were threatening to kill former Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah over phone. There were no response from police though Lingaiah furnished the numbers with police. He said that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has to hand over the case to CBI if there is no role of K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said and informed that they will approach High Court in case the government failed to respond on it. We must approach court as we have no belief in this government, he said. (NSS)
