Hyderabad, December 20: Govt. of A.P is searching for the dynamic Govt. Officers for placing them in Wakf Board, Haj Committee and Finance Corporation.
The tenure of office of M.D. of Minorities Finance Corporation Dr. Ilyas Rizvi is expiring next months. No decision has so far been taken for the extension in his tenure. Finance Corporation received six awards so far for the excellent management of students’ scholarship programmes. Dr. Ilyas Rizvi belongs to Forest Dept. The tenure of office of Mr. Habeebuddin Ahmed, CEO of Wakf Board expired. Govt. wants to repatriate him to irrigation Dept. CEO of Haj Committee is retiring on 31st December 2011.
It is an interesting point to be noted that the number of officers belonging to Minorities is dwindling day by day. In secretariat, there are only a few officers of the cadre of Asst. Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Joint Secretary. Out of these officers no one is ready to work in the Dept. of Minorities Welfare because they get involved in some conflict or the other. C.M. has given full authority to Dr. Mohammed Ali Rafat, IAS, Secretary Dept. of Minorities Welfare to recommend suitable officers to be posted to these posts. He is an honest officer of state cadre.
