The Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee sought applications from eligible Muslim government male employees aged between 25 and 50 for appointment as Kahdim-ul-Hujjaj for the Haj Season 2013
AP State Haj Committee Executive Officer Abdul Hameed, in pressnote stated, the individuals must have performed Haj earlier and should be of sound health and medically fit to travel. The AP Haj Committee has decided to call applications from the freshers, who have not performed the duty as Kahdim-ul-Hujjaj earlier.
He stated that no family member should accompany them to perform Haj 2013. Only government servants well acquainted with religion’s knowledge, including Haj rituals and experience of handling functions and public congregations are eligible for the post subject to approval of Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi. The period of deputation/absence for Central Government employees shall be treated as on leave.
The individuals should submit NOC from the respective department if selected. Selection is at the discretion of the AP State Haj Committee. The AP State Haj Committee is empowered to accept or cancel any application without specifying any reasons thereof. The candidate should have valid international passport with validity up to March 31, 2014. The Region for selection of Khadimul Hujjaj for Haj-2013 will be based on the individual working in the office situated in the concerned district, the Executive officer stated.
Application Forms and detailed conditions can be obtained from the office of the State Haj Committee House, Nampally during office hours on all working days and the filled-in Application Forms through proper channel along with supporting documents may be submitted on or before February 28. (NSS)
