AIMIM Floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi today urged the TRS Government to appoint an Urdu Translator in Telangana Assembly.
Participating in the debate on Budget here, Akbar said existing translator was shifted to Andhra Pradesh Assembly and there is immediate need for one in Telangana Assembly. Since Urdu language is given top priority in Telangana, a translator in Assembly will help its members to get total information and data pertaining to proceedings, Owaisi said.
Stating that his party has no qualms on Hyderabad Metro Rail project, Owaisi said some of its lanes need alternatives. He also said his party will contest in Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh elections also in future. However, he maintained that the AIMIM is not interested in contesting polls to be held in Delhi and Jharkhand. (NSS)
