Hyderabad, December 30: Department of Higher Education Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued notice inviting applications from the candidates for the post of Vice Chancellors in various universities of the state. The universities include Mahatma Gandhi University (Nalgonda), Kakatya University (Warangal), Osmania University (Hyderabad), Dr. B R Ambedkar Open University (Hyderabad), Telangana University (Nizamabad), Sri Krishna Devaraya University (Anantapur), Sri Padmavati Mahila Vishwa Vidyalaya (Tirupati) and Adikavi Nannaya University (Rajahmundry).
Candidates must possess good academic record with 10 years of experience as professor in any university or any equivalent post such as experience of research or academic organization work in any valuable institution.
Women alone are eligible to apply for VC in Sri Padmavati Mahila Vishwa Vidyalaya (Tirupati).
