Hyderabad, July 22: According to Mr. Syed Mohammad Ifteqar Musharraf, officer on special duty department youth service Hyderabad district, every year on the occasion of birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on January 12, National Youth Awards are given to individual youth, youth institutions and organizations by department of youth officers, New Delhi government of India. Such youth organizations or individual young girls and boys who have extended outstanding services for the welfare of youth can apply for the same. Youth shall have the age between 13 to 35 years. Organizations or youth who have done exceptional services between April 2010 and March 2011 are eligible to apply.
Individual award comprises of a medal, certificate and 40000 rupees cash while the organizations which have been registered under registration act and are 3 years old are eligible. Forms can be obtained from department of youth services Hyderabad district collector office complex station road, Nampally, Hyderabad from 11 am to 4 pm. The last date for submission is July 25 2011.
