Application for LRS of unauthorized plots/layout compulsory: HMDA

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has stated that the following attested documents should be enclosed along with the application form for processing the LRS applications, for regularizing the plots which are having registered Sale Deeds executed prior to December 31, 2007.
They are: Copy of registered Sale Deed / Title Deed executed duly attested; Location Plan; Detailed Layout / Plot Plan drawn to scale showing plotted area, open area, area under roads and the plots / plots applied for regulation.

Prescribed Indemnity Bond in case of layout to be regularized; Plan of the plot required to be regulated along with abutting road width in case of plot and make 50% payment of penalization charges and shortfall of open space charges on pro rata basis, and if conversion charges (where applicable) at the time of Application in HMDA.
The applicants who have already applied for lrs under the scheme and paid the initial charges and received intimation letters from hmda are to clear the dues along with 20% surcharge and collect the approved plans and proceedings immediately

The applicants can also obtain details / guidelines / clarify their queries relating to LRS from the following Officers / Help Desk and apply immediately at respective Zonal Offices or at HMDA Head Office. The HMDA appeals to the General Public to apply for LRS which is compulsory as per LRS Rules, 2007 issued vide G.O. Ms. No.902, dt.31-12-2007. Failure to come forward for LRS shall entail enforcement action besides refusal of Building Permissions, Services, Loan from Financial Institutions, ban on registration of such unapproved plots and so on.
