Hajj Committee of India has invited applications from Muslim government employees for the appointment of Hajj volunteers (Khadimul Hujjaj) to guide Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. Prof. S A Shukoor, Special Officer Telangana State Hajj Committee stated in a press note that for every 200 Hajj pilgrims, there will be one Hajj volunteer, so that one khadimul Hujjaj can be sent with each flight.
Selected candidates will have to attend training classes arranged by Central Hajj Committee or else their selection will be cancelled.
The last date for application is March 11, 2016. He informed that besides government servants, employees of Public Sector, Policemen, Home Guards and other Govt. undertakings are eligible to apply. Candidates should be in the age group of 25 to 50 years for selection as ‘Khadim-ul-Hujjaj’ (Hajj volunteers). Applicants should have performed Hajj earlier. They should have their passport effective till 31st March 2017.
