Applications forms for Hajj 2015 will be issued from January 2015. Central Hajj Committee will announce schedule in this connection. Speaking to media Special Officer of Telangana State Hajj Committee Prof S A Shukoor, who also represented AP at a meeting conveyed by the Hajj Committee of India in Mumbai recently, said that the Central Hajj Committee was gearing up for better arrangements for Indian Hajj pilgrims this year. It had been decided to make up for the previous shortcomings in facilities like provision of food in Madina Munawwara and transport facility in Makkah Mukarrama.
Mr. Shukoor told that online selection of Khadim-ul-Hujjaj was being mulled over to bring transparency in the selection process. He hoped that the Hajj quota for AP and Telangana States would be enhanced for the upcoming Haj-2015 as he had requested the national committee to decide Hajj quota for States on the basis of 2011 census.
