Apple’s internal documents that were presented in a court have reportedly revealed that the company is concerned about the declining iPhone sales.
Apple has been struggling to keep up with Android phones while determining ways to keep iPhone sales up.
According to The Verge, Pages from a 2014 planning document last April, shown during a cross-examination of Apple’s marketing chief Phil Schiller, noted that smartphone growth rates were declining.
The document with a headline on the page reading “consumers want what we don’t have,” said that growing consumer interest for less expensive, larger-screened smartphones was a cause of concern for the company.
The revelation came amid the patent infringement lawsuit between Apple and Samsung, where Apple has accused Samsung of infringing upon five of its patents. (ANI)
