Hyderabad, August 18: President Jamiat-ul-Ulma-e-Hind, and MLC Maulana Hafiz Peer Shabbir Ahmed sent a letter to all district committees of Jamiat-ul-Ulma-e-Hind appealing them to make dua for the oppressed Muslim youth at all mosques of Andhra Pradesh after Friday prayers and pass resolutions unanimously and send them to district collectors of the respective districts demanding implementation on the recommendations made by National Minority Commission.
He also urged to include the demand for immediate release of innocent youth in the resolution to be submitted on Friday. Besides this provision of aid as per the recommendations of National Minority Commission, issuance of character certificate to wrongly accused and subsequently acquitted by the court should also be demanded.
Maulana Peer Shabbir Ahmed told that Jamiat-ul-Ulma-e-Hind had passed a resolution for proceedings against the officials having prejudiced mind and if proved they should be suspended and compensation be paid to the innocent from the salaries of the policemen guilty of unwarranted detention of innocent youth.
