Former General Secretary of APNGOs P Subbarayan on Saturday levelled serious allegations against the Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association president Ashok Babu.
Addressing a press conference at Somajiguda Press Club here, Subbarayan alleged that Ashok Babu had exploited the sentiments of Seemandhra people for his own gains. He asked Ashok Babu to disclose the accounts of the public meeting held at LB Stadium for Samaikhyandhra. He said that the meeting was originally funded by some politicians and corporates and the APNGOs have also collected Rs 10 from each participants. He asked Ashok Babu to disclose the entire accounts of receipts and spending.
Alleging that Ashok Babu was behaving like a Chief Minister, Subbarayan alleged that the APNGOs president did not take other office bearers into confidence and accumulated huge money. He said that Ashok Babu was not trying to pursue his political goals. (INN)
