Hyderabad, October 15: The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (APIDC) is all set to be revamped.
Chief Minister K Rosaiah today decided to scrap the earlier proposals to wind up the corporation and make efforts to revamp it based on the suggestions made by the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.
In a meeting on the status of APIDC, Rosaiah asked the industries department officials to prepare proposals to revamp APIDC and submit a report to the government for consideration. He felt that APIDC had a key role to play in promotion of medium enterprises and in turn encourage overall industrialisation in the State.
