Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee chief spokesperson Rudraraju Padmaraju on Monday ridiculed TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s praise for BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Speaking to media persons at Indira Bhavan here, Rudraraju wondered as to how Chandrababu Naidu and BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu could “chant Modi’s mantra” by ignoring the factual position. He said that the Gujarat’s model of development was ridiculous. He said Gujarat stands in 13th position in education, 14th place in Below Poverty Line and 21st place in road connectivity across the country. Therefore, Chandrababu Naidu’s slogan of emulating Gujarat model in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana was highly objectionable, he said. (INN)
