APCC demands action against Modi for hiding facts

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Chief Spokesperson Rudraraju Padmaraju on Friday demanded that the Election Commission of India take action against BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for hiding facts about his personal life.

Speaking to media persons at Indira Bhavan here, Rudraraju said that Modi had accepted about his marriage in the election affidavit following stringent laws. However, Modi had left the marital status column blank in affidavits filed in previous elections. Therefore, the Election Commission should take note of this and take action against Modi.

Padmaraju also accused TDP President N Chanrdababu Naidu of luring the people by making sensational announcements on one or other issue. He alleged that Naidu did nothing for the people’s welfare while in power. He blamed Naidu for the ongoing energy crisis in entire Andhra Pradesh.

The APCC leader said that only Congress party could bring overall development and it would turn the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh into the highly developed State of the country. (INN)
