Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr. N. Raghuveera Reddy has criticised Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for assigning the task of construction of State’s new capital Amravati to Singapore.
Addressing the 69th Independence Day celebrations here on Saturday, Raghuveera Reddy said handing over the construction of the new capital to a foreign country was an insult for all Indians. At a time when the entire world has been acknowledging the Indian talent and Indians are being appointed CEOs of leading international firms, Naidu is not willing to trust Indians. He demanded that AP Government cancel the agreement on Amravati construction with the Singapore Government.
Attacking the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre, Raghuveera Reddy said within one year four BJP Chief Ministers and two Central Ministers have been accused of indulging in corruption. (INN)
