Andhra Pradesh Congres Committee (APCC) today complained to Chief Electoral Officer that YSR Congress Party had violated model code of conduct through Saakshi electronic media in Kovur Assembly constituency in Nellore district.
In a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), copy of which was released to media here, APCC Spokesperson B Kalakar Rao charged that liquor and money were being supplied from the vehicles of Saakshi electronic media owned by Mr Y S Jaganmohan Reddy,(MP) and President of YSR Congress Party on behalf of the party’s candidate N Prasanna Kumar Reddy at Kovur Assembly constituency, where the by-election is slated March 18. He said this was brought to the notice of the Returning Officer, Kovur and the District Election Authority. He requested the CEO to initiate necessary action against the Saakshi Electronin media. UNI
