Nalgonda: Municipal Chairperson’s husband was found murdered at just 100 yards away from his premises on Wednesday said the Police.
Boddupalli Srinivas,(45) was the husband of Nalgonda’s Municipal Chairperson. Further investigation into the murder revealed Srinivas was killed after he got into a dispute near a roadside eatery.
He reportedly left the house saying there is some kind of issue outside, and was later chased from Alpha College to Hanuman Temple located in the vicinity of Gandhinagar and was beaten to death with a huge rock that was thrown at him which killed him on the spot said the Police.
The Police added Srinivas also had some criminal cases against him and that the dispute took place on road at the roadside eatery a Mirchi Bandi.
According to the Sources, Police took five persons in for interrogation regarding the murder case. Nalgonda Superintendent of Police DV Srinivas and Deputy Superintendent of Police S Sudhakar were also present at the crime scene and inquired about the incident.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Congress leader along with others staged a protest at the clock tower demanding the arrest of Srinivas’s murderers.
The deceased body of Srinivas was later sent to District Hospital for postmortem reported Telangana Today.
The body of Srinivas was shifted to the district hospital for postmortem.
