Empowered under Article 309, Governor made some amendments to the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, issued in G.O.Ms.No.436, General Administration (Services-D) Department, dated October 15, 1996 and published in Part-I Extraordinary Issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.34, dated January 27, 1997, as subsequently amended from time to time:
In rule 30, for 3rd proviso to sub-rule (a), the following shall be substituted, namely, “Provided also that no withdrawal of resignation shall be permitted, if the withdrawal is made after the resignation takes effect.” (2) for sub-rule (b), the following shall be substituted, namely, (b) “If the resignation of a member of service has been accepted, but has not taken effect and he withdraws his resignation before it has taken effect, he should be deemed to be continuing in service.” (3) sub-rule (d) shall be omitted.
