TRS wins this seat as expected. The Warangal district constituency also went the TRS way. TRS candidate Rajayya defeated his nearest TDP rival Kadiyam Srihari by a margin of 32,765 votes. Congress stood in the third place in the constituency.
Kamareddy: TRS wins this seat as expected. Gampa Govardhan Reddy wins defeating his nearest rival from the Congress. Mr Reddy gets 75,699 votes against Edla Rajireddy from the Congress, who finished the second with 31, 234 votes. The TDP was only able to garner 17,839 votes. TDP candidate lost his deposits in his run up for the polls. TRS scores over Congress with bumper majority.
Probably most parties must be in tense situation as the by-polls in the seven Andhra Pradesh constituencies are taken up for counting. Lot of people need to prove their stances by winning the polls. Six constituencies are from Telangana and one from Nellore district. The by-polls in the six were necessitated as the sitting MLAs resigned. Of the resigned six, five from Telangana, resigned in protest against the separate T State. And the Kovvur MLA had resigned in support of YSR Congress Party. Each party needs to prove as per their individual party synopsis. Congress needed to prove that everything was going in the right direction under Kiran Sarkar. TDP which lost its charm now needs to prove that the people desire a change and the change is TDP. YSR Congress has to show that it is dominating the scenario for the Congress high command to open its eyes. TRS needs to prove that the Telangana agitation is backed by people and not only a political motive.

2. Nagarkurnool: Independent Candidate Nagam Janardhan Reddy in the lead, by 2649 votes.
3. Mahbubnagar: Congress in the lead. Muthyala Prasad leads by 1578 votes.
4. Kollapur: TRS leads.
5. Adilabad: TRS leads
