Warangal (AP), January 07: Andhra Pradesh Police today seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition from a Naxal dump near here, an official said.
Acting on a tip off, the police unearthed an arms dump of the Maoists from the Adavi Ranapur forest area, Warangal District Superintendent of Police Shahnawaz Qasim said.
As many as 16 landmines, one Claymore mine, 19 grenades, nine bombs, 160 cartridges, two magazines and explosive material, among other things, were recovered from the spot, he added.
