Mr. Ali bin Ibrahim Masqati along with his family left for Saudi Arabia to perform Umra. After learning about his arrival NRIs from various districts particularly from Hyderabad met him and informed him about the details.
Mr. Ali bin Masqati called on Mr. Quraishi consul general of India in Jeddah, Mr. S D Moorty and Mr. Prabhat K Jain to make representation of miserable condition of Andhra Pradesh NRIs and for resolution of their problems. He demanded concrete measures for the welfare and development of workers belonging to Andhra Pradesh and settlement of their long pending issues.
He further stated that there is risk of thousands of Non Residents Indians getting affected with the recent Nitaqa programme in Saudi Arabia.
