Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy has expressed confidence that the residuary State would emerge as the next IT destination of the country.
Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, Palle said that several cities and town in Andhra Pradesh have the potential to emerge as preferred locations for the Information Technology sector. Therefore, the government would soon introduce a new IT policy to attract huge investments into the State. He said that the government aims to create five lakh new IT jobs in the next five years.
The minister said that the State Government was promoting IT in a large way and the recently held e-Cabinet meeting was a proof for its commitment. (INN)
