AP Legislature proved worst, Says Julakanti

CPI(M) floor leader Julakanti Ranga Reddy here on Thursday said several undemocratic and unconstitutional things took place in the 13th Legislative Assembly of the State.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here, Julakanti said 13th State Legislative Assembly was the worst Legislative House among the Legislative Assembles of the States in the country. Several bills, including Budget was also passed by 13th Legislative Assembly without discussion, he pointed out. The opportunistic policies of the Congress government have led to frequent adjournments of the House. He charged the political parties with turning the 13th Legislative Assembly as platform for politics.
He also alleged that instead of taking up their political agendas outside, all the political parties have taken them up in the House. With this, the members lost an opportunity to talk on the public issues, he regretted. (NSS)
