AP Transport Minister Sidda Raghava Rao has said ensuring quality education to poor children was the goal of the State government.
Speaking at APTCA meeting at Montessori Public School here, Raghava Rao assured that he would speak with the Education Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao on the issues being faced by private educational institutions and will try to solve them. The government would soon give clarity on Class X examination system over which uncertainty prevailed, he added.
Representatives of the Association requested the minister to relax rule of Fire certificate, which has become a difficult. The minister assured them that he would talk to the Home Minister on the issue.
Later, Srinivasa Rao was administered oath as district president of APTCA. (NSS)
