AP IT Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy, along with IT delegates, including Joint Director P Pratap, Krishna Mohan Gadiparthy and IT Ambassador Sridhar Talanki, visited the world’s largest ERP development company SAP America at Palo Alto, CA with Global Head Guru Prasad Srinivasamurthy and VP Programs and Operations Nilus Vincent explained about IT infrastructure establishment in Andhra Pradesh and ePragati program inviting SAP executive to invest in Andhra Pradesh, the country’s sunrise State for opening development centers.
Later, the Minister had a meeting with Chip manufacturing consortium members – Ian Williams of Invecas; Krishna Yarlagadda and Krishna Raghavan of Imagination; Ajith Dasari of Ineda Systems Inc., who are part of Semiconductor equipment manufacturers of Silicon Valley. The AP IT delegation also had a meeting with Srini Madala of SoftSol and Vidyasagar Amirapu of Progressive Technology Solutions, who agreed to conduct pilot projects related to smart cities.
A grand event was organized by Department of IT E&C, Andhra Pradesh “Advantage” Andhra Pradesh for IT, Electronics & Communication opportunities at Fremont, CA and over 200 attendees from various parts of Silicon Valley IT industrialists. Sixteen US-based companies gave letters of intent to the Minister and IT ncipal Secretary Phani Kishore, Nikhil Agarwal, CEO of Innovation, and Vice Chairman of CII, Shiva Kumar along with IT Ambassadors Mahesh Nandyala and Sridhar Talanki.
During the eent, one of the industrialists, pledged $25000 towards for schools’ development in Andhra Pradesh. Mayor of Fremont City, CA presented an appreciation letter to Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu through her council member. (NSS)
