Shamsabad, December 3: Hajj pilgrims sent to Hajj by Andhra Pradesh Hajj committee face immense hardships in Makkah due to unsuitable and inhospitable accommodation provided to them.
H Afzal Hussain deputy sarpanch Shamsabad reported through telephone call that Hajj pilgrims faced lot of difficulties due to lack of facilities available at the place where they had been given accommodation. The pilgrims traveling in A class were also accommodated in the lowest class.
Elderly people are facing problem as the lift in not functioning, they are being carried to sixth flour by others.
Water too is also not being provided properly due to which pilgrims face difficulties in bathing and ablution.
Nearly 100 Hajj pilgrims protested against the inadequacy of AP Hajj committee and demanded to plug the loopholes.
