Hyderabad, August 23: The Governor of Andhra Pradesh has reconstituted the State Haj Committee. The Committee consists of Mr M.A. Khan, Rajya Sabha member, Mr Shaik Mstan Vali, MLA, Mr Hafiz Peer Shabir Ahmed, MLC, Mr Rehmatullah Khan, Corporator and former Mayor of Vijyawada, Mr Shaik Shareef, Corporator GHMC, Mr Moulana Mufti Sadiq Mohiuddin, former Member, Mr Raza Hussain Azad, Hyderabad; Mr Syed Khaleeliddin Ahmed, Mahaboobnagar dt; Mr Zakir Javeed, Vice Chairman, Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society, Hyderabad; Mr Mohd Habeeb Ahmed, Nizamabad dt; Mr Mohd Baig, Hyderabad; Mr Mahmood Hussain, Hyderabad; Mr Alhaj Mohd Pasha, Kurnool dt; Chairperson of the Ap State Wakf Board and Executive Officer of AP State Haj Committee as Ex-officio Member and Convenor.
The term of office of the members shall be three years commencing from the day following publication of the list of members in the A P Gazette. The Committee should work under the administrative control of the Minorities Welfare Department, an official notification stated.
