AP hailed for financial reforms

Hyderabad, December 08: Comptroller and Auditor General of India has applauded the Govt. of A.P. for better financial management and for implementing reforms in the financial system.

In its report, CAG said theat in respect of pending projects, the Govt. should prepare an action plan.

Accountant General Mr. Y.Sri Ram told that the Govt. of A.P. has given priority to developmental expenditure during the year 2010-2011. However, he pointed out that Govt. spent less in education which needs the attention of the Govt. The rate of repayment is low. He advised the Govt. to prepare a road map following the guidelines of third finance commission.
