AP govt should act on Hyderabad free zone issue: TRS

Hyderabad, November 16: TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao today demanded that the Andhra Pradesh government take steps to resolve the Hyderabad free zone issue in 15 days.

“The state Assembly had passed the resolution on free zone issue earlier this year. The state government has not done anything to get it accepted by the Centre. If they are sincere, the Chief Minister should immediately lead an all-party delegation to Delhi and resolve the issue in 15 days,” he told reporters here.

The state government should postpone the scheduled written examination for recruitment of sub-inspectors as demanded by the students of Osmania University and not undertake any recruitment, he said.
