AP govt. to host Iftar party in Vijayawada

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has decided to host Iftar party on July 12. However the party will be held in Vijayawada instead of Hyderabad. Minority Welfare Department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has been directed to begin arrangements for the proposed party. It must be noted that despite state bifurcation, Hyderabad will be the joint capital for both the states for next 10 years. However Chandrababu Naidu has preferred to host the party at Vijayawada instead of Hyderabad. It is said that Chandrababu Naidu has taken this decision because of Minority leaders of Hyderabad distancing themselves from the party.

On the other side Telangana chief minister also consulted Secretary Minority Welfare Ahmed Nadeem on the issue of hosting Iftar party. Since he is hosting the Iftar party for the first time, he wants to arrange it on the large scale. The party is scheduled on July 22, at HITEX, Hi-tech city.
