Vijayawada, September 28: The TDP today said law and order machinery has virtually collapsed in the Congress-ruled Andhra Pradesh and the government has become “inefficient”.
“All systems of governance have failed and law and order situation in the state has worsened,” TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu told reporters here, referring to the murder of party leader Chalasani Venkateswara Rao on Sunday in Hyderabad, before leaving for Ventrapragada village to attend the funeral.
“Corruption and inefficiency have become the hallmarks of the state government…The criminals are having a free run,” he said, adding that those involved in Rao’s murder should be identified and punished.
