AP Govt constitutes GoM for welfare of orphan children

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has constituted a Group of Ministers to look into the affairs of welfare of orphan children and also to ensure proper care and provision for the children studying in the Government Hostels and Ashram Schools.

Ghanta Srinivasa Rao, Minister (HRD) is the Chairman, Ravela Kishore Babu, Minister (SWE & TWE) as Co-Chairman, Kollu Ravindra, Minister (BC Welfare), Dr. Kamineni Srinivas, Minister for Health and Medical Education and Peethala Sujatha, Minister for Women Empowerment, Child Welfare, Disabled and Senior Citizens Welfare, will be the Members.

The Secretary to Government, School Education Department will be the Convener of the above Group of Ministers. (INN)
