AP Govt constitutes GoM to control malaria, swine flu

Hyderabad, July 09: The Andhra Pradesh government today constituted a Group of Ministers (GoM) to review the status and steps taken to control the spread of malaria and swine flu in the state.

Medical Education Minister P Sudharshan Reddy, Danam Nagender, Minister for Health, B Satyanarayana, Minister for Panchayat Raj, Anam Raamanarayana Reddy, Minister for Municipal Administration and P Balaraju, Minister for Tribal Welfare are the members of the GoM.

The terms of reference for the Group of Ministers are to monitor the status of Malaria in tribal areas and H1N1 flu in some parts of the state, an official release said.

The GoM should make efforts to check the spread of the two diseases, it added.
