Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kirna Kumar Reddy today said the state government is committed to undertake the Polavaram irrigation project on Godavari river. Addressing farmers after inaugurating two lift irrigation schemes at Rammannapet village in Krishna district, he said that state would get an additional 45 tmcs of water from Godavari river for irrigation after the Polavarm irrigation project is completed. He said that the government is also keen to complete all the pending irrigation projects in the state. PTI
