Hyderabad, February 07: Investors planning to make investment in Andhra Pradesh need not have any reservation about the security situation in the State owing to recent disturbances, Andhra Governor ESL Narasimhan said here today.
Addressing the Valedictory function of BioAsia-2010, Narasimhan said the State has become one of the most happening places in the world.
“It is a safe destination and an happening place. We have a pool of human resources. My appeal is please do come to the State. We would provide safe and secure environment to everyone “, the Governor said.
He said the AP Government had identified Biotechnology as a major growth engine. The 600-sq km Genome Valley has emerged as a centre of excellence for Life Sciences and a vaccine manufacturing hub in India.
Speaking about the BioAsia-2010, Prof Sayed E Hasnnaih, and Chairman, BioAsia Advisory Board said, the event was attended by over 4350 delegates from 21 countries. More than 800 B2B meetings took place in four day as against 300 last year.
Meanwhile, the organisers announced that the BioAsia- 2011 will be held from February 21 to 24 next year.
