Andhra Pradesh Minister for Infrastructure Development and Ports Ganta Srinivasa Rao today said the State Government is creating best infrastructure in all sectors to boost growth. The Government was also planning to set up a board for development of maritime sector in Andhra Pradesh, he said. Rao was speaking after inaugurating a three-day international conference-cum-exhibition on technology of the sea, ‘Tech Samudra 2012’, organised by the Maritime University, Visakhapatnam. Stating that the India has a coastline of 7,517 kms, the Minister said there was ample scope for growth of maritime trade in the country. He said the Government is taking all steps to create best infrastructure to improve maritime trade as the state has 975 kms of coastline. PTI
