Andhra Pradesh government has released a budget of ₹ 28,15,39,000 for post matric scholarship of minority students. Special Secretary Finance issued orders in this connection. Andhra Pradesh government had allocated a budget of ₹ 40 Cr. For post matric scholarship of which ₹ 12, 12,93000 were released in the first phase and the remaining amount of ₹ 28,15,39,000 has been released in the second phase . Thus the Andhra Pradesh government has completely disbursed the budget earmarked for scholarships. This way Andhra Pradesh government has outdone Telangana government with respect to release of scholarship budget.
